Why Albi Antiquities ?
Who are we ?
Because we meet ourselves in this region of Midi- Pyrenees, welcoming and beautiful, from different backgrounds , Auvergne through the Provence for some, North via the Beauce for others or as my friend Albert, Bourbonnais through the French West Indies … We chose Albi, but why not Toulouse or Rodez, or Montauban, its the entire cultural diversity of Midi-Pyrénées that seduced us!
Of all the names you call us , antiquarian, junk dealer , merchant of art … without an endless inventory , we prefer the term ” merchant ” or like you say, ” antiques dealer” . In the trade, this is the one that buys and sells art objects and antiquities, sometimes decorative or craft , with only one constant, the love of the beautiful, rare , real .
